Artist in Residence
The Artist in Residence Program brings innovative artists working in diverse media to campus for quarter-long residencies to facilitate the production of new work, give the Northwestern community insight into the process of production, and recognize the importance of the fine arts to the humanities. Each artist is co-sponsored by an NU department or institute to teach a course or otherwise provide their students with a unique learning experience outside of the classroom.
"Commemoration: a Prison Unbuilt"
Co-sponsored by the Department of Art Theory and Practice
"Languages of the World"
Co-sponsored by the Global Languages Initiative, Residential Colleges, and the Northwestern Library
The Artist in Residence program is generously funded in part by the Jean Gimbel Lane Fund and the James B. Pick and Rosalyn M. Laudati Fund for Arts Computing.
