Waste Co-Sponsorship
The Kaplan Institute invites proposals for a fall 2020 keynote event that will showcase a different topic than the planned keynotes for winter and spring (see main WASTE Dialogue page here).
Kaplan will also offer 6-8 co-sponsorships for visiting scholars and artists who might deepen the conversation by providing different disciplinary perspectives on WASTE from any era, approach, or region. We wish to partner with units who already hold a speaker series so that we can increase the size and diversity of audiences at Northwestern events.
Propose a fall keynote event
To propose a fall keynote event, please compile the following information in a single, one-page PDF document and send to Megan Skord at megan.skord@northwestern.edu.
- Describe the format and content of the event and how it relates to WASTE
- Describe who is likely to attend
- Provide brief biographies for all speakers you are suggesting (may include links)
Kaplan will accept fall keynote proposals through June 5, 2020.
