S. Hollis Clayson Named Distinguished Scholar

hollyclayson-450px.jpgFounding director of the Kaplan Humanities Institute will be honored at the 112th Annual Conference of the College Art Association of America

Clayson's distinguished career and impact on the field of art history scholarship will be celebrated with presentations and a dialogue with scholars and colleagues on February 15, 2024 in Chicago (the event will also be livestreamed on YouTube). Clayson is Professor Emerita of Art History and Bergen Evans Professor Emerita in the Humanities at Northwestern, where she taught for 35 years and advised 27 doctoral dissertations. She served as the founding director of the Alice Kaplan Institute for the Humanities Institute from 2006-2013.
